Where do you go, You-Do-It?

Or how about this:

Wire guitar: remove volume pot and go: pups>tone>output jack

Wireless unit to your rack of FX

At end of fx have an outboard stratoblaster with an external level pot to send a pair of cables to a volume pedal and back to the amp!

Close... but elimate the cabling.... Move the Blaster after the tone control, it isn't going to do much at the tail end the chain.

Instead, the volume pedal uses a digital pot that is controlled via RF from a controller on the guitar. As far as discrete packaging goes, I'm sure that I can come up with something on the Volume Control transmitter side that isn't too large at all. Just about the same way that the volume controls are setup on most TV's or Stereo's...

Because that's the goal... keep the control surface on the guitar but move where the volume control is actually taking place and eliminate all the cabling in between.

You-Do-It is the place... they rape ya on pricing sometimes, but it's a fun place to go on a Saturday afternoon... Once I'm done harrassing the Music Unlimited kiddies.

BTW Emoto... Is yer Blondie done yet??? I was in Crossroads last week and talked to Bobby and he said that it was due to be started any day.
Yeah, You-Do-It is awesome.

Nah, not yet. :x Last time I spoke to Bob they were waiting for a battery box - turned out it was tight enough under the pick guard that they thought it safer to stick a battery box in the back of the body and I OK'd it. Should be in this week, and perhaps then they will finish. I hope so, anyway.
