ok. one thread said the moderator gives you avatars per say posts.. Soo 5 posts u get one then a different one, then many differnt ones , then eventually u can get your own. Is this correct?

Well, I can't figure out the avatar thing. I've found the place in the user control panel for avatars, but it says it is disabled. I have not found another spot to enable it. I do have over 500 posts, so thought I might be able to upload my own avatar. What am I missing?
