Not sure if this is on the up and up as I don't know the paper, but I came across this and since I missed them back in the day, I thought I'd be stoked to check em out next summer. I, for one, will get to a show if it's anyhwhere in the US! I know they're sloppy, hit-or-miss, etc, but they were the shit and still have a place in my heart.

Theres a cool article on Blurt-Online about them touring. Apparently Robert Plant is too busy with his own personal endeveours to tour with them next summer, so they have to find a replacement. It would be still be awesome to see them (Jimmy Page) rock it out

I think i'm the only one who doesnt worship zeppelin.
They have a few good songs. Page is sloppy live, and plants voice irritates me.
Bonham was a great drummer tho.

I've never really listened to live tapes from the band, but I've heard good and no-so-good things from folks, but I mean, who wasn't sloppy once in a while live?
I find it weird that a lot of their writing mimics the works of JR Tolkien, but I mean, you gotta find inspiration somewhere.Either way, they fuckin ROCKED!!!
My Dad still swears this was THE BAND of the seventies.

You're not alone. They had a few nice moments, but tend to bore me right away.
