Congratulations on being the one person inside 128 who knows that western mass starts about an hour outside of Worcester!

I might head out if I'm feelin' up to it.

Do you know how this festival got its name? I assume from the thriving Worcester music scene, but I see a few dead cover bands there, and the names don't sound too, well, Wormtown.

Wait, this is past Worcester? I thought the earth stopped right after Springfield?

Kidding of course... I'm from MN... I know where Western MA really is, and I know Boston people who think Waltham is Western MA. :P

I think the festival got it's name because it's run by the people who used to own Wormtown Trading Company.

Yeah, the Festival got it's name from Mark that used to have a store on Highland Street in Worcester called Wormtown Trading. He promoted bands and put on shows while he had his store, now it looks like he just puts on shows. He still has a website

Funny story - Most of the clients I go to are in Boston. I'm talking with this one guy before I leave; I don't exactly remember the way the converstation went, but it came out that I 1) live in Worcester and 2) went to UMass Amherst. Turns out the guy thout Amherst was between Boston and Worcester. :?

Gotta love when the wether guy is like: 'Going to be a cold night for you folks out west, 59 right now in Framingham'

I could go on but....
