seeing how you are in the burg, you might have access to one of the all time greatest beers ever brewed. It is from MI and it is called Bells! if you ever have a chance to drink this fine beverage i highly recommend it.

On a regular basis Heineken is my beer of choice. For a nice treat once and awhile a good Guinness can't be beat. IMO

Before I learned to like beer I thought Yuengling was Chinese. Then I found out it was from P.A !
A new beer I had was Troeggs ( spelling ?)Sunshine Pilsner.
Pretty good.

Bell's Expedition stout is one of my favorites. Their beer is tough to find here in NY.

Can never go wrong with the Dogfish IPA's. Another very tasty IPA is the Stone Ruination, very good if you like IPA's.

Went to a beer festival a few weeks back and Sam Adams had a couple bottles of their Utopia for tasting (24% alcohol and about $300-$500 a bottle). It was interesting, almost like a whiskey more so than a beer, but something I would never pay for.

West Coast Brewing Green Flash IPA (San Diego)- the most amazing hop orgy ever to come out of a bottle. Head (if not shoulders) above these others:

Pelican IPA (small brewpub in Pacific City, OR, not widely distributed)
Bell's Two-Hearted Ale (Kalamazoo, MI)
Hopworks Urban Brewery IPA (Portland, OR, not widely distributed)
Lagunitas IPA (Petaluma, CA)
Stone IPA (San Diego)
Anderson Valley Hop Ottin' Ale (Mendocino, CA)

but anytime the weather is warm enough to make me sweat... it's Tecate with lime and salt.

KK--I met Larry bell at a beer tasting in Pittsburgh. Talked with him at some length as I used to brew a bit myself.Very cool guy. Used to drink a lot of the "Two-Hearted Ale" til I discovered the DogFishHead 60 and 90 minute IPAs. They're now my hands down favorites--especially for the money. I've also been digging brews from Lagunitas in Cali, especially their Maximus IPA.
Larry Bell told me about how he's pretty well known for "odd beers" and was planning to give a talk at a convention about his efforts in brewing "Bull-Testicle Stout". He was (I believe) dead serious---can't say I'd want to sample that one though.

Others I've been diggin lately are HeavySeas Loose Cannon IPA, Green Flash IPA (they also make an Imperial IPA--excellent) and Southern Tier's products--they make some pretty BIG beers.
I love Stone's products as well, especially the Arrogant Bastard and the Ruination IPA.
We have it pretty good here in Pittsburgh as far as beer goes as there's a few excellent local micros, several great brewpubs with huge selections and a few distributors that bring in beer from everywhere possible.

All things considered, 60 minute IPA is what I regularly buy/drink.

Beer is good, for it made Bud Wiser. Now that's funny stuff right there. Favorite beers:

1) My own - any flavor
2) Sierra Nevada - tastes like weed.
