does anyone know what key this is in?

I'm pretty sure it's in Amaj.could be wrong though.

Although that C#7 passing chord sounds nice...the GD don't play it regularly. But it does sound sweet.

I've seen Weir use it in passing sometimes...much like the passing diminished chord in LLR.

BUT Peggy-O is, indeed in the key of A and the rest of those chords look accurate to me!

73'-75' versions are in G. Has a nice feel to it....

Seems like the D is held a bit long.

There is also a passing E chord before the first F#m

And the C#7 might be better being a C#m: I hear a A/Ab which if you simplified that out to a triad (omitting the root) it would the same same notes as C#m less the A.

A = A E C#
A/Ab = Ab E A C#
C#m =C# Ab E

I usually play this in G as well. I think the only recording of it I have is on DP 20, which I think is also in G. The major chords in the tab on this site are C, F# and G, which looks conflicted between C and G. So basically, I walk around thinking of Peggy-O as being a key of G song.

However, based on the chords Dozin posted, there is no way that version is G. All of them are inside the key of A except the C#7 as already pointed out, so without listening to the version, that would be my guess too.

SS - that's what I mostly play as well - A/Ab
