So I am way into the most recent Gov't Mule album 'Mighty High', although I would not be suprised if a lot of you hardcore Mule fans are put off by it. I think the fusion of Dub/Reggae with Mules ability to lay down a heavy groove is fantastic, one of my favorite studio projects by a major jam band in a while. My question is in regards to the Mighty Tour that is just picking up. They played somewhere in oregon last night, and are playing Seattle at the WaMu theatre tonight. Tomorrow they play a small club in my city, and I am so psyched to be able to see Warren again from the front row of a 500 person venue. I'm wondering though if they are gonna' be rocking a lot of the reggae/dub numbers, or just mostly the older stuff, or (most likely) a mix of both. Did anybody see 'em last night?

mighty high is great. they didn't care about thinking or playing outside of the box. its a very cool album. Most of the Reggae stuff would be, Unring the bell > (Reggae) Love Me Do > Unring The Bell, they also do Al Green's I'm A Ram witch has cool Reggae Riffs, and they do Reggae Soulshine wich i find awsome. but they do still do classic Raw Mule all the time. Rocking Horse, Thorzine Shuffle, (Seppin Wolf's) Don't Step On The Grass Sam, Bad Little Doggie, Larger Than Life, (The Beatle's) She Said She Said, Mule, and others. Warren always puts on a great show no doubt. plus you might get a "thats what love will make you do". have fun, let us know how it went!
