Green Fly Phenomena?

So this is something I've experience on multiple (at least 4 or 5) occasions within the past year or so. I'll be jamming with my roomates and we'll see one of these green flies (look like normal black flies except for a metallic green color on their backs). They're pretty common around my area. So anyway, while I'm playing some music, they will try relentlessly to land on my guitar, like they're attracted to the vibrations or something. Also, they become very friendly and will land on my hand or whatever and just chill like they don't even care, and even if I touch it it won't fly away! On a couple occasions I've also gone into the "jam room" to play and one of them will be ON my guitar as I go to grab it. I figure if this has happened to me so many times, someone else out there somewhere must have experienced the same thing. Anyone else ever seen this phenomena before?

The Fly whisperer. Maybe you just chowed a double cheese from MickeyD's and their doing recon.

"There's a fly doing the backstroak in my soup".

"Oh, yeah? Well there's a fly doing his hair in my ketchup".
