Monitor Speakers

I was wondering what monitors you guys use. There seems to be a wide range in price from about $150 - $1500 for monitors. I am looking for best bang for my buck. Any suggestions?

Do you run your own sound from the stage??
If so I'd suggest you get the same model monitors as mains.

I use JBL self powered speakers all around.
Mackie makes a similar product but I like the JBL's....

Yes, this is a small stage rig. I would control it all from the stage. A small club portable PA type of deal.
I have Rokit powered monitors for the studio, which i really like.
