I have a Peterson VS-II... A bit expensive, but I think it works great, easy to see outside too. It has a signal in/thru capability, but I haven't tried it. I use a signal splitter/switch to direct the guitar out either to the tuner, or to the effects,

I've been using either the Boss TU-12 or TU-12H for years, for tuning Pedal Steel Guitars.
I bought a Boss TU-2 about two years ago, for guitar.
fwiw... 'Not a fan of the Boss TU-15.
'Never been into rack mount tuners and never had a need for a strobe tuner.

I've never had a chance to check one of these out. Seems like a really cool gadget. To bad you couldn't plug meter leads into it and it had the ability to be a Fluke also.
