A promised, we've changed the site a bit. First, we compressed the road to becoming a "Senior Member" by half - you can now reach this most coveted position in 500 posts. Also, the ranks have been compressed, I've shortened the length of ones people didn't care too much for, and kept others that people do like at the same level.

The good news is that once you get to 500, your rank will be senior member - however, you need to choose an avatar, which can be one of the ranks, or your very own custom avatar that you'd like to download to the server.

If you choose to upload an avatar, there are some restrictions:
100x125 no bigger than 6144 bytes.

I hope that this will allow people to stop using the signature for gigantic images and start using the avatar to express themselves. I think that cutting down the posts it takes to 500 is fair (and allows me to keep my favorite easter egg - no pun intended).

So, If you have noticed that you have no rank image - congratulations! - you either found a bug or are able to choose a new avatar!

To do so - go to your profile, and a new avatar section should appear. I have posted all the rank images in the gallery for you. If you have trouble, lets use this thread to work it out.

PPS - if your rank changed to a vince or donna or keith, hold on, it won't last long, and we will Koons you for bunk posts.

i like the idea but i can barely find an image that will fit. i did find one that my computer says is 80x118, but the thing says it's too big when i try. is there anyway for me to squash images down?
