Got a friend who is working on a significant fund raiser. She is looking to do a festival of sorts and looking for jam bands. I figured that my brothers (and sisters) here would be a good place to start.

So, who is down that way???

I may, if thing align properly, come down and hopefully would be able to sit in with band!

Hey SS / Weir Impressed,
Long time since last post... Been on a "Tour" and took a week off laying low... out of the line of fire!!!!

I'm in Birmingham, a couple hours out of Atlanta. As you know, I have no band (Except the one I play with in my head...) however would love to go check out the festival. Perhaps they can provide us a few chairs and a cooler... and we can start a new stage for them..... the "KIND" stage. Hell... I'll even bring the chairs and the coolers!

Dates???... Of the Festival... Mrs. Bozo may not appreciate my having a date.....
PEACE,
Phil

Well, I'm in Atlanta. I don't have a band, but the guitar lessons are coming along. I'd be happy to jam along with the Rukind group.

Can you share any details of the festival?

it would be pretty cool if we could get an rukind jam going in Atlanta, even if we are not at the festival!

what are the details of this festival?

Thank you all for your interest. Here is a link:

It's at Smithe's in ATL on 5/18!!!

It's less of a festie but more like a day of music for a cause.

I'm still debating if I am coming down or not for the day.
If I was able to piece together a pickup band I would there.
But, as of now, I can't get that together so I may not.

I'd be looking for somebody to play acoustic lead and bass at a a minimum.

I could play lead and or rhythm for you, and I have a buddy that can do some percussion in the background. You should definitely come down, I was looking forward to an rukind jam haha
