Hey now...Neil here
New member, but long time lurker originally from Chicago bun now living in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

Been playing for about 15 years. Have Fender Strat and two Seagull acoustics ( 6 and 12 string) that I LOVE!

Played in a band in Charlotte until I moved to Philly about 5 years ago. Now just play solo for the fun of it. Lots of Dead, but all kinds of classic rock.Looking for someone to jam with in the Philly area if you are out there.

Have about 150 shows under my belt from about 1972 on, but as they say, if you remember them, you were not really there.

Can't wait to join in on the discussions.

Whoa! Small world. My wife is from Cherry Hill and I'm from Haddonfield. Whereabouts in Cherry Hill do you live?

Actually live in the town of Merchantville, a small town just west of the Cherry Hill mall. Live in a 100 year old colonial. Kind of cool location. Can be in down town Philly in about 10 minutes from home.

Yup, I know Merchantville. My grandparents grew up in Merchantville. Aunt Charlotte's Candy rules!

Usually when people ask me where I'm from I say Philly. That part of SJ is so much more Philly than NJ.

I'm originally from Cranford, NJ (often referred to as Cranstock).
Whew, alot of DeadHeads/JamBandHeads from 'Jersey!

'Saw alot of shows in that area '78-'82 (I was class of '81), '89-'91 (spent a couple years back in NJ).
I remember I wanted to call our DeadHead band "Nassau Spectrum Garden".
