I'm sure a lot of you guys are goin to langerado, we should all jam/party!!! I would love to meet some more experienced guitar players to learn from. I'm so excited, i havn't gone on vacation in so damn long!!! Also, who's hittin up DSO in Atlanta?? Me and my buddies are stoppin there on the drive down to catch the show and stay in a hotel. Hope to meet some RUkinders from all over on this long strange trip!!

Any thoughts on the move?

Well, I'll be doing the Jamcruise the first week of the year. I guess by March I might be ready for another festival.

But now, the move to Miami changes a lot about the festival. First of all, the cost will be a bit higher, with the hotels and all. Second, transportation will be an issue. If you have drive to get to the various venues, that limits how much you can, uh, drink. And third, Miami is not exactly a low crime city. You've gotta be careful there.

For me, I'll have to see how much it costs, the lineup, and logistics. Then I'll decide.

But, did someone say DSO is coming to Atlanta. They haven't been here in a while. There's nothing on their webpage about it. Do you know something we don't know? At any rate, a jam session in the ATL sounds good.

As for Langerado, I thought Big Cypress was the SHIT for throwing a music festival. Other than the cow shit and ants (expected, its a cow pasture), I had no complaints. I see why they had to move it, seems the traffic was too much to handle last year. Its too bad, hopefully the whole festival doesnt change. Apparently, 60-80% of the bands already booked have never played the festival before.

And as for Miami, I know I wont be driving around venue to venue due to obvious reasons, so hopefully they got some shuttles running or something. And the hotels probably going to cut my spending in half, along with the five dollar Big Macs they sell down there

But hey it is a festival, youre supposed to have some fun. I sure it will stay a decent festival.

I always felt that camping was an essential part of the festival experience,so I wonder what its going to be like without a campsite. A bunch of "wooks" walking around Miami sounds kinda interesting!
