Hey, I'm Chris. I just recently became a Dead fan, so I googled this site and found it and I love it. It's a great website and I really like it here. My favorite Dead song is Loser. So, I can't wait to experience this site more!
My gear is as follows. No band, but I'm working on songs by myself:
3 Pickup SG Faded Special -> Zoom G.2 -> Route 66 Overdrive/Compresser -> Vox Cambridge 30 Reverb.

Hey Chris. Whereabouts in the Appalachians? I'm originally from Charlotte but moved to Denver about 9 years ago. My Mom still spends her summers at Grandfather Mountain near Linville, NC and we head over there every couple of years or so.

All of my paternal family is from Summersville, WV. I've been going there every year since I was born. I love it there.

I'm in the SW Virginia Appalachia part. I just realized how stupid my Thread name is, haha.
But yeah, I couldn't imagine living too far away from mountains at ANY point in my life. I love them. I can say that there's not much to do around here, but God almighty do I love the nature round here.
