My new Breedlove

I know most of you folks probably have really nice guitars, but I've only been playing for about a year, and have been learning with a Seagull S6. Bought this Breedlove C25/CR 2 weeks ago and its sooooo cooool, I had to show it off. Solid AAA cedar top, solid AAA rosewood sides and back, ebony fretboard and bridge. I love it. So much easier to play than the Seagull, even though I still have it around for camping and such.
AND, its made right here in Oregon!

Nice!
I have the same amount of experience as you (been playing around a year, learned on a Seagull) and I played a few Breedloves in December when I was looking for a new guitar.
I really liked the Breedlove guitars. The guy working at the guitar store seemed to favor them. They did feel easier to play - softer in the hands for lack of a better phrase. I thought about getting one, but the one I wanted was just a little out of my price range and I liked the sound a tad better on the Martin DSM I ended up getting.
Anyway, congrats on the new guitar. That's one wicked looking bridge.

I had a Breedlove Atlas series for a coupla years.
Great Axe!
Excellent tone, and a nice playing guitar too.
Unfortunatly I have extreme buy/sell/trade-itis, and it went out the door in a trade+cash deal a few months ago.
That is a cool looking guitar.
Congats!
Where in Oregon are you?

I like the tone of most Martins better than the cheaper Breedloves with spruce tops and laminate sides too, but the tone on this one is awesome, acoustic or plugged in!

They are located outside Bend, Oregon. They make some real nice pieces. Here's a link to their site.

Guitar Center has them listed at $1,599, but I went to the Boise store and got it for $1,325 with 3 sets of D'Addario strings and the awesome hard case.

So, how is the learning going? What songs have you mastered so far? I've only got a few that I know well enough to play in front of other folks: UJB, FOTD, ripple, sugar magnolia, wish you were here & mother (Pink Floyd), Tequila Sunrise, and I just started working on Cassidy this week.

Sweet guitar. I played a much more expensive Breedlove a while back and it was killer.
But just looking at this one, that cedar top is so inviting for the Dead's darkness.
Congrats!

Hey, thanks for the heads-up. I had no idea about the string summit. I'll have to see if the wife can get these days off and drag her along. Is your band going to dazzle us there?
Here's a link to the site (for those that are in the dark like me).
