OKAY! C'mon all you naysayers who said the Giants and Eli had no chance...Where are you Dozin'? C'mon out!...The Giants wer hungrier and like the rest of the playoffs they never once gave up especilly their DEFENSE...I said it a few weeks ago...DON'T TELL ME THIS TEAM AIN'T NO HEART...WHEN I CAN HEAR IT BEAT OUT LOUD!!!!...Congrats to the PATS and their fans for an unbelievable season...The Giants just wanted it more

Shockey is just a distraction. He might be talented, but I think Boss fits in better with that organization.
Course, that being said, theres no way the Giants cut shockey, but hey, maybe he'll break a leg next season too

it appears the Giants pulled off the best addition by subtraction ive ever seen. Barber and Shockey are/were all-pro caliber players. take away those two "cartoonish" egos, and there you have a championship functioning offensive unit. what do they have this year one pro bowler on the whole team? FFS my Browns have 4 or 5 or 6 guys in the pro bowl. Everyone wanted to point the finger at Eli/Coughlin, including yours truly. In fact i was so 110% sure that the Pats would win i was almost upset with myself for not giving NY any credit whatsoever. Of course being from Cleveland we never root for NY ever, also Boston by the same token to be perfectly honest.
Im thinking that this might also be a reflection on the state of quarterbacking in the NFL. Rothlesberger, Brady, Eli all kinda come outta nowhere and win championships with real team effort in all fazes. Not like the era that i grew up watching with Elway, Montana, Marino and dare i say Kosar! j/k
