Here is an original tune that i wrote. Let me know what you guys think. For some reason i am singing out of tune lately. not sure why.

I like it David. Only thing is that it sounded familiar and then I realized what it sounded like. Now I'm assuming it's a coinckydink but eventually I put my finger on it.

Well from what I can see the chord progression is different. But the melody is pretty close - maybe too close...for comfort.

I do that too. I write something and wonder if I really wrote it or if it was just in the back of my mind from something I already heard.

Regardless of that there are plenty of differences and I do like it but I would try to change it up a bit.

I would especially try to change the melody. I am not sure if this info is correct but I heard you cant copyright a chord progression but the melody can be.

If you could copyright a chord progression then I suppose there would never be anymore blues tunes!

I'm hearing Floyd for the verse and i'm getting Lynard Skinard on the chorus. Free Bird i think. Sounds good anyhow and the vocals are nice not bad at all. keep it up.

OK, I am going back to the drawing board on this one. I can deal with ripping off Pink Floyd, but if the chorus sounds like freebird, that is just too much...
