For the past 4 or 5 days I have been having trouble with my tone. I couldn't figure out why.

I turned the treble down on my amp, started playing more on the neck pickup, turned my tone on the guitar down. My amp was feeding back at high volumes.

I was like WTF. Anyway to make a long story short, I was playing today and went to use my wah pedal and I clicked it and it didnt work.

I realized, when I pressed it I actually clicked it off. It was on the whole time I was having trouble and pressed all the way down. I cant believe I didnt figure out my tone trouble. All is right with the world now. What a dummy!

DUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so glad you posted this you dont even know! A while back I bought a used wah pedal, a crybaby for $25. Not a bad price at all. It was the first wah I ever had and it came with no documentation and I didnt know anything about it. And it worked great for like a couple of days and then it just stopped working and for the life of me I couldnt understand why. I took it apart and messed with it but I just couldnt fix it . . . .

Then I read your post where you said you clicked your wah off . . . so I took it out and put it back together again and then pressed down on it really hard and heard a click . . . plugged it in and it worked!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so grateful that you made this post man, you helped me out BIG time!!!!!!!

Thanks!!!

Been there, done that.

And THAT, my friend, is exactly why you should send your wah to Gary @ http://www.garmopatmods.com/wahs.html#W ... %20Options!

I had him mod my Vox 847 and it's freaking incredible! Best sounding wah I've ever heard, and not saying that because I got one. I know I've said it before in other threads but it's true....check him out. He can mod your Vox 847 (not the 847A) or a crybaby if you have one.

I had him add the single/dual inductor switch, the bass sweep switch, blue LED (key for knowing whether your wah is on or off!), DC jack, and 4 trem pots added to the inside which allow me to adjust the Q (sweep), volume, mid, and bass. I fucking love this wah.
