I am getting a new PC in a few days and will be having succicient memory to do some recording.

I have a limited budget and will be looking into either a used Mbox Protools setup or something similar like say Cake walk or something of the sort.

I saw this one set up for like 100$ on guitar centers web site i gotta think its unreliable as the price is so low.

just wondering about some opinions of those of you who use something for a PC (no mac stuff that cant be used on PC please) or are familiar with this particular interface/software.

i am not in a band, i am mainly looking to be able to play with myself (lol) or record stuff with the occasional person i jam with and if i ever do wind up being able to get in a band i would be prepared.

A guy I work with has the line 6 tone port, it seems like it's a pretty cool tool to mess around with.
