I myself enjoyed the New Years Eve countdown from a Dark Star Orchestra Concert at the Keswick Theatre in PA. Sadly it wasn't a cover of one of the dead's new years shows, but it was still a really good show. Dark Star played Mississippi Queen and needed to use a paper with the lyrics because they didn't know the words
Any one else attend a New Years concert?

Yup, I noticed a lot of lyric sheets throughout the night... She Belongs To Me was another one. Interesting show and scene, I had fun despite the mediocre setlist.
pete, you gonna check out Hornsby on his little Spring tour?

It wasn't the best show of theirs I've seen, but they played all the songs that I would've loved to hear every other time I've seen them, so I can't complain. I liked Mississippi Queen though, and I am the Walrus!

I can never tell if people here like panic, but I caught them in atlanta and god what a fun couple nights. Me and about 10-15 friends were in the top/back of the arena and it was so cool to be there partying together and to see ALL those people just dancin' in the new year. Also some dude named Bobby proposed on the jumbo-tron, and the place just went bonkers (BOBBY,BOBBY,BOBBY)
hope everyone was safe

yea i actually listend to that show live on panicstream.com... to be honest, i dont think it qualified as a good 'new years' show. I love when panic playes rare songs. last year they did morning dew on new years.
I never see people talk about panic on this site...

what you heard and what I heard must have been different then! The energy of the band combined with everyone in the dome was beyond anything I've felt before, and Jimmy Herring's licks were raining down over it all just melting us away. You should have seen it, after red hot mama ended the encore, the lights came on and so did Kool and the Gang's "celebration." Nobody was ready for the party to end, EVERYONE and I mean everyone kept singing and dancing...it was beautiful
but yeah panic rules, sorry to go on and on

I saw Trampled By Turtles too. That was my second time seeing them, and both times were packed with energy. Listening to them play Codeine and Mad World after Al Frankin anounced the New Years felt great.

I scored first row orchestra pit tickets (dead center)I have seen them many times. Banjo Dave is a bud of mine. I liked the "Hey,Hey what can I do" cover too! It is cool to have seen them get bigger and bigger over the years. I am very happy for them.
I recommend you all check them out if they come to your town!
