Following the previous topic created by drum>space, I decided to register an IRC channel on the DALnet server.

Channel: #rukind
Server: irc.dal.net

We're currently using this channel just as a dead chat and to swap things via e-mail. To prove we can set up a true DCC "center" we need people to join the channel.

If you're thinking "What the hell is he saying? English please?"

IRC is a network of chatrooms called channels and there are servers that hold these channels. Google "mIRC" for more info.

i am interested will enroll, but you may not see me much on there never been to big on chat rooms. boards are better for me but this is worth checking out thanks for the heads up

More people who come in and at least idle, will prove that it is possible and could lead to lots more activity
