I used the Sony Stereo condeser mic to record this that was recommended by Dozin. Had to set it on the bar so it piced up alot of crowd noise but it is great. see the myspace page for song details

Thanks, this was the first time we all played together and my first time singing in front of people. Needless to say the liquid courage was flowing. Levels sucked and i think i need to buy some monitor speakers.

I was using the 1960 Strat>bosstuner>Mini Qtron>TS9#1>TS9#2>Phase 90 > 1965 Deluxe Reverb. I have to admit that it is exactly the sound i want and the thing wails. The same set up is very different with my 73 Strat.

Couldn't really hear the vocals very well, but your playing was great. That sounded like a fun Christmas party!

question about your strat - what shape neck is it? I'm looking for the classic strat tone out of mine and it really need a new neck - i like them thicker personally - id like to know what the old school ones came with.

It has the C shaped neck. The finish is worn completely off the back and it is one of the slabboard models. There is nothing else like it for sure. Now if i could only play it the way it deserves to be played!
