Looks like it will suck ass, unless you're dosed to the gills. Visuals look great. I know there's some older folks that remember the original and I think they started showing it on the Cartoon network, so I'm sure the youngins here are familiar with it. :)

i do remember watching speed racer as a kid and i hate how they have to ruin all my childhood tv shows with bad movies.

but still this looks better than the new rambo. i was in shambles laughing when they showed the trailer

Oh, man! I went as Speed Racer two years ago for Halloween (my wife was a perfect Trixie!) I'll go see it because I loved the cartoon as a kid. And that theme song, I wished the boys would have covered that one! I did see a band called Two Nice Girls do a jazz cover of it that was cool. Anyhow, it will probably tank, but I'll go. I can't decide if the movie looks cool or bloody awful. Why is John Goodman in all those bad movies of cartoons(Flintstones)?

Anyhooters, A while back 12-15 yrs ago,there was a techno song using Speed Racer sound snippets and had Trixie making orgasm sounds and saying "oh, Speed!" over and over.

When I was a young boy my Gram' got a dog, and us kids named it "Sparky" after the character from that show.

Goodman's a perfect Pops! Spridle and Chim Chim look pretty funny, but Trixie needs that oh-so-sexy flip in her hair!
