So I'm taking my first jab at home recording. I did 2 covers, one is Colours by Donnovan and the other is Chameleon by Herbie Hancock. I'd love to get all you're opinions on how they sound, any form of critique would be great. Here are the links:

Chameleopn is pretty good, the bass sounds a little dirty, but other than that great job

Really good Zop! I see these are on Archive? I'd sure like a lesson on how to put stuff up there sometime. I hear it's more than difficult.

Peace,

Gil

WHoa!! I like this! Esp- the herbie hancock. Your playing reminded me of david gilmor at times, which is a very good thing! Lets hear some more!

Hey, thanks a lot for the positive feedback! Sorry though for the drum machine and mostly looped bassline on chameleon, I'm trying to start branching out into other instruments, so in the future I'll try to have more of a variety.

Laytonco - Posting stuff on archive is kinda iffy. Loading them up is really easy but it's a pain to edit your entry afterwards, cause I'm trying to record a lot of stuff and build up kind of a database, but I don't know how to get the correct files so that it shows up on the player. A Myspace is probably much easier.
