Thanks! That was a demo from my last band. I played the Bobby parts! Had a really good Jerry doing the Jerry stuff.

I figured you were the Bob,but the recording was so clean I thought maybe you overdubbed the Jerry parts.
Man Chicago has it going on with Dead bands!
Hey any advice on the Bob intro to Scarlet?
I feel like I have the octave note-y thing down note wise but it is very tricky to play over the Jerry part.
Yeah the timing throws me off.
I either rush it or drag it.
Any thoughts?
Ps. Everyone plays Jerry but I think a good Bob can really make a band sound Dead-ish.
I'm on a total Bob kick right now.

You and me both TN Jedi..... Love diving in to the Boby licks as well. takes me out of the "Jerry" comfort zone....

Strummin,
I look forward to hearing it! Mentioned many times in the past... The internet police at my office will not allow streaming at the old salt mine... I guess they expect us to work while we're here....
I will no doubt check this out when I get home this afternoon.
PEACE,
Phil

Well, due to technical difficulties it was a strumminsix solo show! Overall a C+. I wasn't prepared to do a solo show so at 9:05 I realize I'm going on solo. 5 minutes of prep (not really enough time) and BAM there I go!

All things considered I'd give it a B+.

My new guitar played wonderfully!

sucks dude, how long'd you end up playing for?

Think about 40 minutes. It wasn't awful just nervous.
I haven't done a solo performance ever less open mics.

Setlist sorta included:
She Belongs to Me
When I paint my masterpiece
Victim or the Crime
Lazy River Road
She's on the Road again
Dark Hallow
Monkey & the engineer

I figured let it all hang out.

Sorta wish I would dropped "she's on the road again" and added "Goodnight Irene" & "Russian Lullaby" then closed with a One More Sat Night acoustic. But I didn't really have time to prep and get my arms around it all.

Ah, Technical Difficulties... like our band's fifth Beatle.

At least you got to take the new pet out for a walk.
