Hi.. in our area our dmv has a public service ad campaign contest in which teens have produced stop teen drinking PSAs. The finalists, of which our daughter was one, won a new dell laptop and a new 80G ipod, and then compete to be shown in the superbowl. They are online and are shown on TV for two months, up to right before the superbowl.
I am providing the link to it and asking, if you don't mind too much voting for her.
ALSO, her voice is the voice, and the two children in it are my son and his girlfriend.

Just, asking, so, if you can, please do..it just would be cool to have folks view and vote from all over.. and since we have the extended Dead Family, I thought it would be fun to ask the few boards i go on , like vibes, dso, dead and gdradio and, nearest to my heart , rukind..

and thanks,..also, some folks were getting a teen oriented survey .. but once you hit submit, they say , the vote counts..
and really, thanks.. she is a good kid and although she already really won, with the dell laptop and ipod, i know seeing your spot on the superbowl would have to be cool.
me i stick to working stiff and trying to learn how to play

Firstly, this about a member's kid.
Secondly, nothing brain washing about kids avoiding alcohol.
Thirdly, it's a local affiliate not FoxNews.
Finally, why go political for no good reason?

admittedly a bit of a knee jerk anti establishment reaction on my part, however Firstly I really hate Fox and I'm not sure what the difference between being a local affiliate and being Fox is, they air FoxNews I'm sure.

Secondly I really think most of these anti teen drinking anti pot smoking commercials are a joke, and have been shown to be ineffective in preventing whatever it is they are trying to prevent and are largely supported by the christian fundamentalist element in our society

and finally i voted for the damn thing anyway

and thankfully it's for their local news and the simpsons and family guy time slots.. so other than peter griffin and homer.. and bart and stewey and brian, the kids should be alright,,

we try to teach em about the evils of all network news... ( my pops was a lobbyist in the thick of things in his day, so they learn to honor the words of sting: they all look like used car salesmen to me )
but thanks for all of the great comments guys (and ladies ) I really appreciated reading them..
peeace..
