just wondering if there are any slip fans out there
ive been listening to them for a whileee and im really diggin all their new stuff even though it is a digression from their jazz fusion
they're a brilliant band with each member being more talented than the next
check em out if you haven't their shits all over bt.etree

I've been lucky enough to stumble on them playing at a couple local festivals. Both times I was very impressed, really talented musicians.

there a band that could and should blow up at any time now, in my opinion with the mix of their old jammy/jazzy stuff and their new more accessible stuff which is catchy as hell, they could be the ones to carry on the torch!

I was really into the slip like 5 years ago, they used to come through Burlington, VT a bunch playing small shows. I really enjoyed their mix of jazz and rock/jam stuff, and they're just amazing musicians as well. However, i kind of lost track of them over the years, so their new stuff is news to me? Is there a new album I should check out? would love to get back into them.

their new album was released last year its called Eisenhower, its definitly a digression from their old sound its more indie rock but obviously extremely well done because they have serious chops, it takes a few listenings to grow on you but its an amazing cd i definitly reccomend it

I just picked up alivelectric. I've never heard this band, but I figured I'd give it a shot based on the good taste of the people here. The album is just excellent. I can't wait to see these guys live!
