ive really wanted to put some seymour duncan 59's inot my guitar. problem is that its an epiphone casino and has those "dog ear" p-90 pickups. they seem slightly smaller than humbuckers, but i was wondering if there was a way to put the humbuckers on it instead?

gracias

That's a toughie... Duncan makes retrofit HB-sized P-90's (the Phat Cat) but I don't know of any that are the other way around. I wonder if anyone makes a stacked humbucking P-90?

I have a Hamer Archtop that came with P-90s. I set it up with DiMarzio DLX 90's which are humbucking P-90's. I then tapped them both which was nice as it gave me a little more oomph and another 3 options when I hit the switch.

These pickups are really great for they do give the bell like tone of the P 90 minus the hum which can be pretty bad. The p 90 is a noisy pickup.

Go to Soapbar and check out the options, There are a few different models to choose from.
