You know, it's really kinda annoying when people just post a generic non-descriptive **URGENT!! GREAT CAESAR'S GHOST!! LOOK AT THIS!!!!** subject line like that and then it's just a (again, totally non-descriptive) YouTube link so you have no idea why in God's name you would want to click on it. I refuse to look. What is it?

I fell prey to the ambiguous post. Though if you haven't seen it (I had, evidently one of 5 mil plus hits) it's pretty cool.

It's that guy playin the super mario theme on 2 axes at the same time.

I wonder why he does not play something other than that shit?

theres videos of him doing a song from final fantasy and the simpsons theme and some classical shit there too.

its cool, but its too gimmicky for me

Well you pick your battles, I guess. If you're refusing to look on some principle, why then would you be interested in what the link contains? It sounds like "I don't want to open the present because it might be socks and underwear. Tell me what it is."

Any way you slice it, there is some major talent there. He looks like a pretty young kid too so I would say the sky's the limit.

I remember seeing Stanley Jordan a few times about 10 years ago and was blown away. For those that don't know Stanley Jordan, he does the same type of stuff technique wise and made a pretty big name for himself,and I tried for a few weeks to get the two hand tapping down. I was horrible. In my next life, I'll learn more classical on the guitar at a young age. I'll smoke less pot and drink less coffee as well.

OK, less coffee, pleased with the pot intake.

that's a good version although I've seen one person use one guitar and play it better. He even did the coin noises etc...

To the OP -
Keep in mind many people view at work, in front of family, possibly kids, etc or have very limited time. Therefore anything non-descriptive seems irritating.

To me, I only get annoyed like that when somebody posts a TinyURL and you have absolutely no clue where it takes you.

I don't think he KNOWS much other than shit like that, being the age he is. We play what we know, right?

I saw and met Stanley Jordan and he was much better, but only because he played music I enjoyed (mostly jazz, but he did a version of Stairway to Heaven with two guitars that was amazing, one doing the "flute" line, one the lead). We need to turn this kid onto the boys so he can do the sick versions of stephen and the 11 on two guitars like that!

People gotta stop hating on the kid...give him credit where he's due. I thought it pretty damn sweet. Of course I am of the mario generation.

Sorry for any abrasions or chafing. Post wasn't directed at you specifically, but this kind of thing goes on all the time on this site from several different posters and you happened to be there when my tolerance wore thin. If you want to start a discussion why not say in the subject line or at least the opening post a simple description of what it is you wish to discuss, so people don't waste their time trying to figure it out or wonder if they might be clicking something inappropriate or not of any interest to them (such as the Mario kid is to me fr'instance.)
