He's been featured here before (notable for his awesome WRS). Here's his take on The Rain Song. Unsurprisingly, this version sounds nothing like mine and I don't think it's because he's got a nicer guitar than I do. :)

Pretty impressive. You can almost hear Bonham kicking in with the tympani.
Anyone know the tuning used here?

Fuckin' love it. That dude is an inspiration and makes me feel like worthless dog shit all at the same time. Weird how that works.

: dgcgcd (this matches the 6 string used in the recording, not the 12 string tuning. I believe it also corresponds to the tuning on the 6-string neck of the double neck used in concert. If you give a hoot about this sort of information, see the wikipedia.org article on this song for more.)

This is how I play the song. It's not as hard as it looks, once you have the right tuning and the tab. I can't play it as good as he can, though! I have the Zeppelin tab book for Houses of the Holy and it's pretty much spot on from what he plays. Highly recommended book, and the tuning is:

Not quite. Alfred publishing took over some of the other publishers and put out some new books. The one I have is from a box set of Zeppelin tab books, 1-4+Houses of the Holy, and here is a link to the single one:
http://www.musicdispatch.com/item_detai ... d+zeppelin
My guess is that they're probably the same book, but the other Alfred ones I've looked at seem to be thinner, and include less than the other books. Not sure why.
If anyone's interested in the tab, I could probably scan it and pm it.
