whats the scale used in general and whats jer doin in the slow little interlude before the solo raps back into the main theme, if u know what im talking about

If by slow part you mean over the B-A-B-A... part I play B mixolydian and A lydian. Same notes.

If in general you mean the end main theme jam, E-A-C... I play a mix of E minor pen (maj 3rd where desired) and E mixolydian. A and C chordal accents where desired.

After "did you hear what I just heard" in the early versions (if I'm not mistaken) jg would play an E minor pent lick. Later that decscending chromatic lick came about.
