I really like this board, but I don't post hardly at all because I find it way to confusing trying with everyone having the same avatars. I use avatars to identify posters , I find it hard to know whose saying what and remember certain posters just by there names , if everyone was able to pick there own avatar it would be make it much easier. If you want to have ranks make them the little titles under the avatar not the avatar its self.

I like the current set-up as it is. It is something different from most other places. By the time you are getting used to your current one it changes, and I like that!!

If you stick around long enough you'll soon remember the names of the most helpful and interesting posters.

I am thinking about allowing this option when you reach a certain number of posts.

Fact is, I wish the rotating avatars never stopped. It's fun to see what's coming next, and it's fun to have it change on it's own. I say not only keep it, but expand it if possible. And who doesn't love the secret nuggets that have been hidden inside?

Its too crazy the way it is now. Its different than anywhere else and it gives you something to post for. I say keep it.

+1 for choosing our own avatars, that way everybody is an individual and you can really get a feel for people

I do like the avatar set up the way it is. It's very interesting. The only downside is that I've seen some sites do this and posters just become post whores for the sake of having a new avatar.

Edit: Haha, a new avatar gained through that post....niiiice!

i hardly ever see post whores here, so it's not really much of a problem. maybe in the future it could be but thats nothing telling the person "quit it" couldnt solve
