Wasnt there a huge fight about her on these vary forums like a year or two back? I remember it when I was still living in San Diego. Either that or, well im wrong .

She sucks, has a good taste in music, but she sucks

Great interview. I cant stand her. Now I cant stand her just a little less.

That being said, if you are strictly talking about the music, other than being brainwashed and told not to listen to or like the Grateful dead, there is no reason is can see that anyone who gives it a chance wouldnt find the music appealling. It doesnt matter race, religion, sex, nationallity etc.

If someone has a musical background they would probably appreciate it even more. Jerry was a musical genius.

If you are talking about the "idea" of the grateful dead then I am surprised any conservatives like it. Especially the religous right.

I am thinking that the music was so good and overpowering to Ann (and other conservatives) that they had to justify thier "deadheadness" some way.

I despise her.Another Fox News Channel darling...that alone is reason enough to hate her. Weir talked about her a bit in a Rolling Stone article recently about how he invited her backstage at a Ratdog show and the rest of the band was appalled. I can't believe Bill Maher actually used to dork her. I like 'em skinny but she just looks like a sickly transvestite to me.
