I'm sure S.F. will be a great time. Shouldn't every community have a Jerry Day?

Actually Deadheads are everywhere. We hope lots of folks go to the "official" Jerry Day in S.F. We have ben doing one here in the Russian River area for 4 years now and it has been fun for lots of people. For many Deadheads and others who live in remote areas of the hills here this is the closest place for live music. There is a strong connection between the Dead scene and this place. Jerry lived here as a teenager, the Dead played and vacationed in Rio Nido which is on the river, Dark Star was written here, the River Theater just down the street was host to a number of Jerry band shows in the 80's and Hunter still comes here to write and kayak. So if you don't feel like treking to the city come on by. Hey,go to both like we are. peace
