... a single year in History and could only listen to records released that year, what year would you choose?
I would choose 1967, mainly for three reasons: 'Axis: Bold as Love', 'The Grateful Dead' and 'The Piper at the Gates of Dawn'.

or maybe 1968

I also like '73 with dark side, Tres Hombres, Pronounced, Selling England
