Jah Rule - maybe the least talented hip hop artist of all time.

Good Charlotte - just simply terrible.

Sheryl Crow - for some reason she makes me ill.

Avril Lavigne - same as Sheryl.

Disturbed - Honestly would rather have someone ritualistically shave my testicles than listen to a complete song from them.

Great topic by the way.

Sheryl Crow and Avril Lavigne couldn't be more different.

One is a proper singer-songwriter who produced one of the best albums of the 90's in my opinion with her self-titled 1996 release.

The other is a just some silly kid trying to play the fake image of the angry young girl speaking out to her people!

Just my opinion.

Not sure talk of hip hop belongs anywhere near this forum. :x

Sheryl Crow makes me sick to listen to. The same for Avril Lavigne. That is how they are comparable in my world which is why I said what I said. Not trying to compare their styles.

"All I wanna Do is Have Some Fun" is a rip off of Cyndi Lauper lyric and "Stuck In The Middle With you" slide guitar riff. Rip Off

All the songs I hear from her are rips of other songs, and not in the "we are all shameless thieves" Bob Weir line. Hers are pretty blatant.

Every album she releases, she has a new cover tune on it that is launched as a single. Last one being "Not Fade Away".

She is a media darling that walks the red carpet the same as Avril Lavigne, blurring the line between singer songwriter and US Weekly chick.

And another thing Shaggy, you would probably be surprised at how many people here listen to and respect proper hip hop.

And if you can't like a band like Tribe Called Quest or De La Soul, then you are missing out on some good stuff.

I could say the same about Sheryl Crow.

But it's all about personal choice. I still respect your views. Afterall we are here on this site for the same reason.
