1 - I think the guy is you.
2 - I think you could use some singing lessons
3 - I am not impressed at all but if you enjoy it that is what matters most I suppose

Jack Johnson and a carton of marlboros?
Maybe Tara Reid and you could do a duet!

Maybe I'm out of touch or somethin but I thought he was pretty good.
I guess I'm marchin to the beat of a different drummer. Um guitarist.
I do think the 'hot new talent' thing with jackr responding ' '1 - I think the guy is you' was pretty fuckin funny.
But he's on key, original (I think) with a distinctive voice and a nice full strum.
Oh well.

I have to agree with you Bill - I didn't find it bad. However, I think its a good policy on this site to:
1> Post the reference once.
2> Take credit for your own work.
Otherwise, people get cynical about the intentions and will consider it spam.

I thought jackr's response was pretty fucking funny as well, but I didn't think it was bad - the music nor the singing. It's a nice fresh approach to the music & I dug it.
Keep doin' whatchoo doin'

Post 1 = a lie
Post 2 = an insult
Neither post was GD related.
Now let me play junior psychologist.
What would Jackr's response have been if you had:
1 - been active in this community before advertising
2 - identified the artist as yourself and not lied
I'm guessing he would said, "cool tunes dude."

Gotta love when ss puts on that freud derby!!
I must of missed the duplicate post thing though the 'hot new talent' thing being a reference to himself w/o much interaction in the community definitely raises the cheeso-meter.
That being said while jackr is certainly entitled to his opinion I thought it a bit rough. As ss points out not entirely unprovoked. Now bk with the jackoff thing is equally rough. So I say we're even.
Clean slate?

strumminsix, you are correct what my response would have been if he was a legit member.
As far as the "jackoff" crack - well, I have been called worse!!
Coming from a spammer, it really doesnt bother me.
Had it really been someone else and not him singing he wouldnt have been offended. But "Hot New Talent" is a bit of a stretch.
Besides, my comments were not really very negative at all and could have been much worse. It was just my opionion. If you heard me sing you would say "dont even bother with singing lessons because it would be a waste of time"
That doesnt stop me from singing anyway, because I enjoy it. Of course my wife doesnt.

I love internet aggresion. I think admin should make a 'duel' button, so you can sort out these little scuffles thru a game of Mortal Kombat. Wouldnt that be fuckin sweet?!

Or maybe an rukind claymation death match. You would choose a gd bandmember as your designated muscle. They could use equipment as weapons. Stab with a drumstick, smush someone with an amp, slice off a noodle with a machette type slash with a guitar.
Is celebrity death match still on? I used to get a kick outta that. And didn't a jg character appear on the show? I don't know, maybe I'm having a flashback.
