Does any one else here do a lot of bending on the acoustic have problems with the strings breaking moreso than eletric?, esp. on the high E string? Damn I'm getting sick of changing those things.
I never have a problem with it on acoustic. Electric is a different story. But lately I never have a problem. Started usin Fat Bottom Skinny Tops by Ernie Ball. Great strings I think. I never break em
theres 7's and theres 9's. i usually prefer the 7's. make sure your gettin the tension out while your tuning up. keep stretchin those strings gently until they wont fall out of tune within a few strums.
I find I break acoustic strings mainly by pounding on them with the palm of my hand. I like palm muting and I guess I just get carried away and my palm is right above the edge of the saddle....
