nd recorded Don't think Twice by Dylan. I figured I'll get over my shyness and take on the ridicule and laughter by posting it here. Vocals and rhthym were done in one shot then I threw a lead guitar in the break. Go easy on me

You must be high if you don't recognize that as being excellent!
The only critical thing I could say is your lead should be a little louder in the mix.
Just excellent!
**** (um, that's a 4 star rating)
I kept waiting for a harmonica solo!

Sounds great!!!
You are nuts if you don't think so.
Shyness can only hurt the music, conviction alone can carry a tune.
But that is really good on both guitar and vox.

Jack - i thought it was very well done. The guitar work was very good in my opinion.
i commend you on throwing yourself into the spotlight like this. hope these comments give you the confidence to do it more often.

Gotta agree with everyone else here, sounds great. Nice job, and way to go on putting yourself out there! You should definitely have the confidence now. Do you do open mics in your area or play out with a band? You should!

Wow, I really appreciate the kind words. I'm not usually shy about playing guitar, but singing gts me all kinds of nervous. I recorded it and just figured it would be good to hear other opinions, good or bad. I can never 100% trust my wife's opinion because she'll tell me I sounded great if I were running a rat tail file across my front teeth. That's love I guess!
Bobby, I use Cakewalk Sonar Home Studio Xl version 4 with an M Audio USB interface. That particular guitar was a Yamaha APX 5A and the mic was an Audio Technica AT4040.
