my graduation speech

last night was my highschool graduation and being student body president and 1 in my class i had to give a speech. Its safe to say noone has ever given a graduation speech like mine, i opened with
"There is a road, no simple highway,
Between the dawn and the dark of night,
And if you go no one may follow,
That path is for your steps alone."
then developed how that was our future and i ended with cassidy and
Fare thee well now, let your life proceed by its own design.
Nothing to tell now, let the words be yours, Im done with mine.

it was beautiful and i mentioned several other dead songs and some allman brothers tunes along the way. It was an amazing speech and at the end i had several teachers and students in tears.
