Is the group primarly about sharing ideas on how to play the music of the dead? Just curious, if not feel free to post what song moves you.

I like to get down to Shakedown when im pushin browns! but seriously, who gives a shit wut we talk about on here, its not like there r rules that we can only talk about certain things. In fact, it'd b pretty lame if there were, this sites about free exchange of ideas typically regarding the grateful dead, every thread doesnt have to be about technique or music theory.

I feel you ronster but I have to agree with bigjilm. I too am more interested in the instrument related stuff but the threads prosper by virtue of the interest in the topic. To have it any other way would be kinda weird. I simply don't comment in a bunch since they don't interest me.
Folks ain't tabbin' like they used to.

Fair enough, wasn't gettin down on anyone just bringing to light the fact that lately the gossip is far out posting the exchange of musical ideas. I'm all for discussing whats the best Dark Star, Dew, or Sugaree (even though its been done and redone) but when someone posts "whats the best Me and my uncle" then someone may have a little to much free time on their hands. Keep on tabbin'

When Push Comes To Shove
Or, depending on diet,
Black Muddy River.
Seems like the obvious choices for the activity. :)
Thank you and goodnight! Please, try the veal.

I mostly ignore threads on "THE BEST ___ EVER"
Anything relating to the Dead or music theory directly or indirectly can be appropriate. If you don't like a thread, ignore it?
"Victim or The Crime"
