Hello everyone, I wanted to share a project I have been working on: https://www.rukind.ai

I posted a bit ago about reviving the "dark star oracle", which, back in the day helped guess DSO shows, but in reality this can do much more than that. I don't really like to call it AI, but I think under today's terms it would fit that category. The reason being that this is not a chatbot wrapper on publicly available LLMs, but a knowledge system based on rukind data. If you all are interested, I can elaborate on the technical details of how it was built.

I am hoping for some feedback on it. It is very, very young, definitely a beta. One of the hardest parts of all of this isn't organizing the data, but translating the questions asked correctly into actionable search queries. This platform is entirely separate from the forum and you do need to use a google account to access the oracle. I do this for a few reasons: first, to control access and costs, and second to allow vendors and reverb shop owners to manage their accounts. You can also delete and unlink your account from the profile as well. If you all wanted to give it a spin, it would be greatly appreciated. For some fun, check out the "concert oracle" (no google signup required)... You can guess the show (similar to the OG dark star oracle), or try your skill at "Bet the Set" a craps style game: roll them bones playing the odds with a Jack Straw opener, or play the field.

There are many features that make it interesting, one of which are the feedback loops: I do capture the questions asked and the responses, as well as "thumbs up and down". if you don't like a response, you can offer a clarification. if it cannot answer a question, that gets logged as well. This is to promote a continuous learning loop that could make its way back to the forum for clarification.

I wanted to find a way to promote our scene by adding these:

1. Reverb Shop integration: when someone is waiting for an answer, I try to show some relevant reverb listings. If you have a reverb shop, you can manage and integrate your listings into it. Once you sign up with google, there is a vendor portal.

2. Digital shakedown street: shakedown vendors can also promote their stores and those will also appear in the gallery.

It can answer questions on electronic circuits, tone , how to play songs, setlists, etc. It's fun, but is it useful? I am committed to tuning it up, reducing hallucinations, and making it smarter in understanding questions. If you have some free time , take it for a spin.

Thanks for any help and constructive criticism.

It's freaking great...

One small complaint. the lack of a vertical scrollbar weirds me out.

Correction... It's there. It's just not big and obvious enough.

Fascinating. I'm swamped through next week but will give it a go after that.
