Cutler Phase/Wah

Been doing some research on Bobby’s rack effects, and I came across a picture of his rack from around 1988. You can get a semi good view of the phase/wah that Cutler built for him. The front panel has four dials that have Mix for phase and wah, phase depth, a cut/boost for the wah, and a dial that reads bandwidth. Is there any information on what Cutler based the circuits of the two effects on? I know Bob had a foot pedal that could change the sweep of the effects but that’s about it. Any info would be appreciated!

That is a picture of it, yes. Above the UE400 and below the Cutler switcher. How the hell do I post pictures on here? This one I've got is zoomed in and good enough quality

The picture must already be posted elsewhere. Right click on the picture, copy the image address, click on the photo icon above the text field for your post, and insert the address. Takes seconds.

This is a pic from 1988, but a lot of the same effects. In between the Yamaha reverb and the Cutler Switcher is the wah/phaser. I included the link so you can zoom in really well on the original pic.

Thanks for the how-to, Jon!

Unless it goes on the auction block, we may never know exactly. I'm having Dan Jamison (DamJam) build me one as we speak. What we are doing is opening up a Phase 90 for the "Phase" and an IVY LPF 2 as the Filter. The first knob, that you can't see from the picture is a "Mix" dial that has Phase/Filter on it. Dan is also building me the switcher and it turned out awesome! Lot of work sourcing all the parts though....

Nice! Dan does really great work, I’m eyeing to get a graphite neck from him when he has one in stock. He’s not far from me either, just about an hour or two away. Keep me updated on how it turns out; I’ve been eyeing up parts to make one myself. Will it be rack mounted or in a pedal format?
