Signal Chain Question

Greetings everyone,
I found an Aphex Aural Exciter Type C at the local thrift store and picked it up for $29.99.
It has two channels. There are two settings for each channel. Big Bottom and Aural Exciter. The Big Bottom has a knob labeled Overhang and one labeled Girth. The Aural Exciter has a knob labeled Tune and a knob labeled Mix. There is a push button that sets the harmonics from normal to high.
I understand the gist of what it does, but, running a Fender Twin type head, how and where would I run the Aphex?
Amp input into the Aphex and then into pedals?
Appreciate any help I can get so I can incorporate it into my rig.
