Two days ago (won't mention store, mistakes happen) I bought a Jerry Garcia Tiger (Troy Post) and then get the call they actually sold it last August and their system didn't update.

I was apart of the Rusch situation and finally decided to get back into the market for a Jerry build and that happened.

Saying that, if anyone has a Rosebud or Tiger they are interested in selling DM's are open.

That said any builders you suggest for around 8k?

Talked to Bob from 8West and may end up paying more for a Rosebud after the move (moving across several states in the upcoming months) and that is taking more of a priority than a block of wood.

I have zero interest in an Eastwood or Phred or modding a strat.

I am also not that interested in getting back on a commission list after Rusch, too much risk.

That said I am thinking my best option is to just be patient and watch Reverb, a DeLuis wolf recently sold for less than 8k.

Well, you did open the door.

Can you articulate for us why it's important to you to own a clone of one of Garcia's guitars? What would it do for you that a less accurate but also excellent sounding Garcia-style guitar could also provide? Then I'll reply with why I asked and a hopefully practical suggestion or two.

Came here to post the same ad. Given all the drama about the builder, this would be a good way for someone to scoop up a tiger sans drama.

Anyone here buy the Rusch?

I'm a little late to the party here but this(link below) just popped up the other day. Guy said he would take $5k.
Jerman makes nice guitars but he does it on the side and the guitar he said would be resady to go for me at the end of May/beginning of april is still not even close so I moved on and found a Phiga that is in route.
If you search Phiga on reverb a couple nice Bolt's pop up from Miami Vintage. May be worth looking into.

My own Tiger-style (not a clone - pic below) guitar weighs in at 9 lbs. 3 ozs. and even that's an orthopedic challenge!
