Was there some type of recent update or change to the site? It’s loading strangely on my iPad. Parts of site and drop downs are overlapping and I can’t access the likes I received. Everything seems to work fine on my desktop.

I’ve been experiencing the drop down overlap issue on my MacBook for months now. Interestingly, though, everything works fine on my iPhone.

Did you see my thread from Friday titled “Can’t Edit My Signature?” That was because of the drop down problem. When I finally tried from my iPhone, everything was fine.

there has not, I can take a look though at what could be causing it.

Here's what it looks like on my laptop. The overlaps render some of the board's functions unreachable, e.g., for me on my laptop, I could not access my profile to edit my signature.

No change yet ...

Problem still there. Well, I’m soon off this morning on my 2.5 hour drive back to Berkeley for band rehearsal. Maybe it will work by the time I get back, tonight. Oh, the sacrifices we make to play music!

I have decided to accept that this forum uses ancient software and I'll just have to continue to work around its limitations which I'm happy and able to do. Setting up and administering a site like this one is a chore. Know that we all appreciate the effort it requires.

Respectfully, if nothing changed on the forum, then something changed on the ipad or safari browser. Using freeware forum software is awesome and we have no ads for a much better experiences.

Reco, try using a different browser. Or reverting your display to a lower zoom.

For the avoidance of doubt, I have no access to perform any software updates.

Works fine with multiple browsers on my iPad Pro with iOS 18.6.2.

Seems to work better with duck duck go. Still, it worked fine with Safari until recently. Tis a puzzlement. I do very much appreciate the work mods do to keep this site running.

I will take a peek this weekend, its a theme I bought so maybe there's an upgrade or I will just throw some css in.

As I think I noted earlier, everything works fine on my iPhone which is Apple just like my laptop where I'm experiencing issues so if there's anything I need to access and it doesn't work from my laptop, my iPhone workaround is in my pocket. And 100% on any minor hassles being 1000X outweighed by not having to deal with ads!
