Another Alligator Build - Need some help!

Hello all. I have not seen too many new updates or comments related to the alligator build. I am getting pieces together and am having a very tough time locating the right bridge. I've searched every forum imaginable, and went deep into this one. The mrmachinist1 on ebay does not have any at the moment. I've found some other options for similar Alembic/Stars over $250 which is too steep for me. Hoping I can get some help here....Thanks in advance!

I fabricated mine using brass channel and bars from onlinemetals.com.

Very nice looking guitar my friend. Do you know what exactly you orderedd to make this bridge? i found a MM recently that "looks" like the Stars/Ambelic https://reverb.com/item/91474244-vintag ... ator-strat but I do not know much about them. Anyone else?

I’ll check my office computer to see if I can dig up the info on my onlinemetals order. Will report back.

Found it!

For the bridge I used onlinemetals part #214234. It's brass channel, .75" x .75" x .75" x .125". 385-M30 Extruded

For the saddles, I used part #1380, .01875" x .375". Brass rectangle bar. 360--h02 extruded.

As for tools, I used a dremel, a desktop drill press, hand files, and a bit of elbow grease.

Hope this helps.

Yes, this absolutely helps. Now to get the confidence to order and actually build one. I've never done anything like this before so would be new to making anything from metal but will attempt it for $40. Let me ask you a dumb question, when you build this how did you affix the bar to the channel?
