It's a market economy. If we don't like the pricing, no one's forcing us to pay it.)]

The prices for the SF guitars make me feel like I bought Microsoft stock in 1990 with what I paid for my 8West wolf.

The only difference I can see between mine and the SF one is the Irwin endorsement. While neat, I don’t see it adding $22k in value. But I hope whoever springs for those enjoys them as much as I do my guitar.

The people spending $31,000 on a Tiger replica are not going to play it much.

As a player who has been eyeing these for a few years, yes they’re expensive, but accounting for inflation since the years Doug built Jerry’s, the cost is the nearly the same, especially for Tiger / Rosebud. Hundreds of hours of labor and using the same materials (cocobolo, which is harder to come by these days) adds up. I’m saving up for one of these bad boys, even if it takes a few years.

Leo Elliot is an artisan and craftsman of the highest magnitude. He's worked hard and long to get to where he is today. And he's a good and warm person. I wish him all of the success he's earned and deserves and more.

Hot damn ! Those prices... crazy. I think im good with my current guitars . Would i like to own one of these ? YES! But i can put a down payment down on a house for that type of $.

Given today's prices, I'm almost sorry now I sold my Scarlet Fire Wolf that I bought in 2013 or so for $3K for only $6K several years ago. But the fact is, while it was a stunningly beautifully crafted and sounding guitar, I bonded far more deeply with my Philtone Tiger to the point where I found myself essentially never playing the Wolf. So, out it went. I know its new owner loves it. And isn't that the point?!

Why soitenly. Important: this is one of those "inspired by" - it is not a clone. In particular, I designed the neck myself: sapele - maple - paddock - maple - sapele. It's ALIVE! Also, you may notice the guitar is 22 frets and the pickups are not exactly where they were on the real Tiger. That's deliberate. I won't go into all of my thinking on it now (band practice in a half hour) but I will clarify that the mini toggles each offer north coil/HB/south coil and as a result I have the option of choosing the coil positioned exactly right for Jerry tone (as well as other desirable non-Jerry options, too).
