Alligator Schaller Machine Heads

Hey now! I’m building an Alligator replica and am looking on the Schaller website for the correct size of the M6 90 machine heads. I read somewhere that they’re long, necessitating the brass string bar but I don’t know the exact spec. Does anyone know what size is on the original?
